About Michael Jerrarde

From an early age Michael realized he had a gift, he could talk to dead people. Now 25 years on, Michael is an international psychic icon with fans both sides of life. Here is how it happened.

Michael's big break into TV came on the reality program: New Zealand Psychic Stage Medium Idol. Michael instantly gained a love hate relationship with watching public, when he stormed off set on the grounds that he had foreseen that he wasn't going to win. However this unusual move would only build his credibility. Without Michael ratings plummeted and the show was pulled leaving no winners. The inability of others to see this shortcoming (including the so called psychic judges) exposed them as frauds. Michael was the only genuine article, in the eyes of the public.

From there things moved quickly for Michael. He appeared on Larry King Live in 2001, Letterman in 2002 and in 2003 his award winning TV show 'Sensing Vibrations with Michael Jerrarde' became a worldwide hit, out ranking shows such as 'Crossing Over ' with John Edward and Colin Fry's '6ith Sense'.

Such is Michael's influence that a number of phrases coined by him are now synonymous with the industry including 'picking up on vibrations (describes tuning into spirit energy) and 'Mother Spirit' (meaning I have a spirit here who was like a mother to you, not necessarily your birth mother).

Although incorrectly attributed to John Edward the term 'crossing over' was actually first coined by Michael when he observed turtle hatchlings crossing over sand to reach their new sea home.
